Ed Taylor,

President/CEO - Director

Ed has over 20 years of Executive experience working with CUSO, Red Cross and his own company doing business in Mexico in 1994, where he was first introduced to manufactured concrete housing.  He joined Rockport in 2004 and worked as a fundraiser until he went on his own as a contractor and was appointed Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and China Advisor.  His commitment to making Tekcrete technology successful as a profitable global housing system and as a help to families globally has been demonstrated throughout his last 6 years with Rockport.  He coined the word coopetition in 1977 and has lead by example and seeing the best in others while developing teams in his personal and professional life.


Al Deslauriers,

Executive Vice President - Director

Albert has a financial and general management background with major public corporations including international experience working in Paris, France. He has proven leadership skills involving managing, developing and motivating teams to achieve their objectives; first-class analytical, design and problem solving skills; and extensive experience in strategic planning and identifying and negotiating vertical integration opportunities.

Al lead his regional management team in developing and implementing a strategic plan that resulted in an 80% increase in sales and threefold increase in profits over a 12 year time frame. He also lead another business unit to substantially increased profit margins through the identification of productivity opportunities, the introduction of value added pricing and  the expansion of customer base to reduce reliance on one major customer.

Al has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal and also holds the designation of Certified General Accountant.
